SeisSmith measured sample survey — 1 October 2025

Start: https://seissmith.com/getting-started/

Open reviewed-field-section.sssection with Section > Open Saved Section.
It contains nine reviewed four-layer inversions and a display-smoothed section.
The gray area is below a half-longest-picked-wavelength estimate, not a measured sensitivity limit.

raw/1010.dat is one unchanged original 72-channel, 1 ms record (30 seconds).
For this raw record use receiver spacing 1 m, source offset 11 m, receiver positions 0–71 m, source -11 m.

prepared-windows/ contains nine DERIVED SEG-2 records from 25 measured impacts (1010–1034).
Stacking, 8–80 Hz zero-phase filtering, aperture selection and late-time zeroing have ALREADY been applied.
Each keeps the original 72-channel geometry: only a 32-channel window is nonzero; samples after 0.5 s are zero.
Do not stack or filter these files again to reproduce this example. The full set of 25 raw impacts is not included.
SEG-2 headers use local meters from the first receiver. Source and receiver coordinates are embedded.
Use a 500 ms analysis window. The reviewed curves span about 26–46 Hz; see accepted-picks.csv.

The CSV and JSON files contain reviewed picks, inverse models and diagnostic flags.
The native section opens directly; importing prepared records does not automatically load picks or inversions.
This is an interpreted training example, not a ground-truth subsurface model or a Vs30 measurement.
See processing-notes.md and provenance.json for processing details and limits.
